DEFENSIVE CANE SEMINARS

Defensive cane seminars are generally Saturday afternoons at your DoJo and would include the following.

1) 1 Hr preliminary Cane material preview with School instructors.

2) 1 FREE Combat Cane & 1 DEFENSIVE CANE” DVD for DoJo (Per 10 students)

3) One “Crocus wood COMBAT” cane (value $29.95) per student.

4) 1 Hr Cane clinic for students. Canes would be custom cut for students.

5) 2 Hr plus Cane seminar

6) “Ancient Dragon” Defensive Cane Certificate for all participants

SEMINAR CORICULAR

A) Introduction.

A light warm up and stretching with a cane

(A seated variation will be included for seniors)

B) Discussion of types of Cane materials, Legalities, Care etc.

SECTION 1

D) Two handed blocks and strikes from the guard.

E) Concepts, AID (Avoid, invade, destroy)
